Surely Stewart was the only one to challenge him - but seeing as he had a bit of a dip recently I believe Gorkss is now the clear winner - with Connolly as young player?

^^^^^ My opinion too mate
Running the London Marathon for the Down's Syndrome Association....
Connolly a dead cert for young player. Could be any 3 of them for the main prize.
1. Gorks- started badly but came good. Can be a bit erratic with his passing though!
2. Stewart- been out the side really but to think of what he was like when Waddock brought him here and what he is now I am very impressed. Not the greatest player but gives 110%.
3. Connolly- apart from a shaky game by his standards at Charlton he is Mr Consistent and never seems to have a bad game in which ever position he plays in at the back. Only 21 as well, so no doubt will win it one year if not this season.
3 very good candidates in my opinion.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.
Scott - that can't be right mate, surely we have to #### each other off, state totally differnet opinions which every one else destroys, balme the board and take a poll on whether we should have a protest demo - before accepting that we are obviously right and everyone else is just a muppet
