          Clever man!
That little statement tells us what we are thinking.

Coach does not work (at least here and in the championship), manager is what's needed.
The future's bright...the future is blue and white.

Whether it was the right decision for him to leave or not - his record here was poor so who really would look to appoint him on the basis of his skills and record to date?

Im actually coming round to him not being with us anymore. Football was rubbish.

Were obv not favorites with the media at the mo, sun barely put a report in for our game today, ans ssn woldnt show our goals atall yesterday. Everyone else's goals were shown but ours for most of the day.
Cant believe it, ive been PWOPER MUGGED ORF...

The way he was treated will be a ball & chain around our football clubs neck for a very long time.
You cant buy credibility or respect in football & you dont treat Double European Cup winners like that.
He was / is too good for us.

You keep saying that mate, and you're entitled to your opinion, but I cannot understand it?

Why is he too good for us?
He left us in a worse postion than when he took over.

Why, when he had us better off was Dowie exempt from any praise?

I agree where stability is concerned that it was not the right move, but this is a guy who's...

                        Win ration was poor.
Goals for were abismal, making a great defensive record pointless.
Telling of goings on within the club were ultimately his downfall.
Swapped players around to different positions far too often.

Now, I NEVER wanted him sacked, but wasn't upset once he was.

To say he was too good for us is insanely inacurate mate.

Alex Fergusson is too good for us.
Arsene Wenger is too good for us.
Harry Redknapp is too good for us.

Paulo Sousa was not too good for us. Not as a manager/coach, anyway.

                        Just my opinion, of course.

Dowie had a better record than Sousa, FACT.

No way was he too good for us, was he treated unfairly? Probably, but lets not go overboard with silly statements.

Fair enough, but are you saying that the way he has been treated is in any way acceptable ??
And if not, then what do you think that says about us as a club to the wider Football Community / World ??
I do think he was / is too good for us, I genuinely believe that he could have been one of the best things ever to happen to this football club.
Dont particularly feel the same about Darren Ferguson / Dennis Wise et al if I am being completely honest.
The way he has been treated was a very very bad mistake & will hinder not help our progress as a football club in my opinion.
He wasnt allowed to do his job, so we will never know, which is in my opinion a missed opportunity for this football club.

Far from it mate. I think It's been harsh, however he did bring it on himself by talking to the fans and giving interviews. It was almost like he was looking to get sacked.

I don't like the reports that Flav *alegidly* interferes in team affairs, nor do I like the fact that the manager *alegidly* doesn't get to chose ALL his own players as this cannot help him to build a team and work out the best formular, but some of Sousa's tactics were a joke.

None of us can say whether or not he'd have done well for us, but from what I saw, I have doubts that it would have worked out for him.

I think ruling out the likes of fergusson is unwise too.
He's done pretty well at Peterborough and could bring a few of his current squad with him.
Also, he will have connections through his dad, and surely 1st option on the Manure youngsters willing to drop a league.
His knowledge of English football is a headstart and can only help his management of a CCC club.
