Feel sorry for Vine as injury has ruined him. Agree about Faurlin.

Issue of the thread though is that it is so much harder to name good buys. Now if this was a Forest board you could have. Blackstock. Shorey. Earnshaw. Gunter. Madeoski and a couple more.

In reality good signings and a proven ambitious manager are the difference between mid table obscurity and having a good go at going up.

Interestingly the majority of Forest's signings are British players. Makes a big difference, generally go to a Championship club to prove themselves. I think a lot of the foreigners come here and think its going to be a stroll. That is my concern with Cousin although watched him score yesterday and looks like he'll be a good addition assuming he comes.

If injury occurs to Adebola or Earnshaw Forest have McGoldrick(12 goals last season), Blackstock (13 goals last season) and Tyson. Who do we have?

How many genuine right backs do we have? How many left backs do we have?

How many strikers do we have who are fully fit? Who have scored regularly in England? Who give us alternative options?

i agree with you totally.iv said since the start of the season i dnt think the squad is good enough.with out best 11 out were more than capable of beating anyone is this league but you cant play your best 11 all season.thats when a decent squad comes in handy.

Not sure which way round it is but there's a saying strikers win you matches, defenders win you championships. Even if it were the other way round we are lacking in quality on both fronts.

i think with a decent right bk we would be fine in defence.i think we should of kept williams aswell cos he is a decent full back.i think we really lack something upfront.goals win you matches.
