  • Putting FA Cup Crowds Into Prespective

Keep hearing from the doom and gloom merchants, that the reason that fans didn;t turn up,. was because they have turned their backs on QPR, well stats don't lie.

    Newcastle V Plymouth 15,805
    Birmingham V Forest 9,399
    Liverpool V Reading 31,069
    QPR V Sheffield United 5,780
    Derby V Millwall 7,183
Bristol City V Cardiff City 7,289
    Coventry City V Portsmouth 7,097

In ratio to average attendances ours was actually the best, apart from Liverpool
ALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.

Perhaps your right Pete I honestly do not know but regardless of the weather and a school night etc there were I am sure other reasons why many more did not turn up.

Its not a bad journey for me all in all to get to QPR but I must admit I did think it over a couple of times over the last week if I could be arsed or not to go and our awful (disgraceful) record in the cup would have put many off.

As it happens I went in the end and eventually managed to get a ticket for a tenner and watched a game of football but the game will not be sticking in my memory long that's for sure :(
