Beat Cardiff away and drew away to Newcastle United.
Preston, Barnsley and reading have their heaviest defeats against us..
Gallen got a point away to west brom so your point is....
Look ignoring all bullying violence mad man stuff, yes it was great for a few games but as soon as we came up against anyone half decent our soft underbelly was exposed and we collapsed.
You can't build a house on foundations of straw, unfortunatley the one manager who was building the foundations first got hounded out before he had the opportunity to work with some of the key attacking players he had planned to build the side around
Writtler, when you are losing an argument, don't go into a defensive mode. Any statisical info you want to provide that Sousa was better than Magilton please do, you know it won't be deleted.. Don't know why you came out with that.
You'll the one who pointed out that Magilton beat lower teams, I just replied by saying Sousa couldn';t beat the 3 teams that got relegated, last season thats all.
ALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.

WTF has SOusa got to do with this thread? This is a question relating to whether people would have Magilton back so why on earth are you bringing Sousa into it - are you obsessed?
Magilton's record against top half teams at the time he got he boot was P9 W1 D3 L5 F8 A16 PTS 6 - that's 6 out of a potential 27.
A few and it was just a few good performances against lower league teams just papered over the cracks.

I disagree.
Some of the football was just incredible
You can't dismiss some of the entertainment on show.
We was very unlucky not to beat Coventry where we played them off the park.
Unfortunately he lost the dressing room but we have a massive issue with ego's in this team.
Buzz and Tarrabt won't be easy to work with and you can tell by the whole cry baby attitude of Adel.
Thats more like it, but you are again being selective for the sake of it, picking the worst period..
You and I know, that football was sublime at times and far better than anything we've seen since the takeover..
How am I picking the wrong period? - they are not consecutive matches they are his results against teams in the top half of the table whilst he was manager.

And Coventry are where in the table?
That's my point we could play lovely football against crap teams (Newcastle excluded - we didn't play that well in beating Cardiff) but soon got found out against decent teams as there was never a plan B - something all Ipswich supporting mates said was exactly teh same when he was there.

I loved some of the football under Jim, as we all did - But his team selections ie; Doncaster away to name one, plus his substitutions, left alot to be desired
No I don't want JM back, mostly for the so called headbutt scandal with Akos..... as I've no time for bullys!
But the way, I believe Tarrabt should have started on Tuesday night! As soon as he came on we got width to the side, and caused that nasty peice of work Morgan, and their defence problems! Mind you, Adel waved his arms in the air, in that nonchalant way that ONLY he can, and then proceeded to throw the rest of his toys out of the pram, when Akos refused to let him take the penalty.
I hope he stays at Loftus Road, but how do you manage an ego like that?:waaaht:

As Writtler has pointed out (and I have said many times before). JM had a good purple patch where QPR played well and scored goals, mostly against struggling sides.
He is not a good manager, has no man management skills and was the same at Ipswich. A few good games here and there and pretty football (probably more down to Gorman) glossed over what was a very poor managerial appointment.
This thread shouldn't be about Sousa, but althought I think the football under him was dire to watch, I still think positionally in the table, QPR would have been better off keeping him.
It certainly would have been cheaper. They may have to pay Sousa compenastion, they have had to pay JM & JG off and will probably have to pay out Hart's 6 month deal too.
