Would be utterly farked. Not only would we lose our backers but people seem to have also forgotten about the various sponsorship deals they have brought in. The ground in reality is the equivalent of mortgaged to the hilt albeit to the owners in one capacity or another.
I am as disappointed as most in the way certain things have or haven't happened but we are in a far better position on and off the field than when FB etc arrived. Personally I have written off this season in terms of us doing anything. I just hope the next appointment is the right one and we can progress further.
I think it would be great PR if a very in depth announcement was made by, or on behalf of, the owners, on the future of club and how they see it developing on and off the field. We have not had anything like that for a long time and it would go some way to allaying the fears of fans and building bridges. We need the atmosphere surrounding the club to improve significantly if the team performances are to improve and if we are going to get more bums on seats. Can't be much fun playing in front of us at the moment.

I don't want "Flav out".
I just want him to have the balls to admit that the structure he currently has in place has not worked, and will not work.
For the 1,000th time.... we MUST get a proven and 100% respected manager in.
Sounds simple, but the manager is the figurehead. The link between the board, the players and the fans. The man who bulids the football team.
The manager is the glue that holds any football club together, and shapes EVERYTHING.
The DoF role must be scrapped, and Steve Coppell or Alan Curbishley must be trusted with turning this football club into a cohesive, united and progressive football club.
Everything else will follow on from that, stability, direction, professionalism, success, fans mood, hope, unity, players togetherness, spirit, belief... EVERYTHING.
SIMPLE.

FB needs to look for a buyer for firstly the club (he can't just walk away) and then secondly the ground.
My guess would be that FB indicated his desire to leave, we'd go into admin as no potential purchaser would want the millstone of those silly contracts around their necks.
If we get an Administrator like BDO again, we can probably kiss the club goodbye (yes, the debts ARE that bad imo) but, if we have a less odious individual than Ray Hocking, we could rise again.
Just my opinion. Except the bit on the Mittal's.

Can't claim to be ITK in any way, but for those claiming that the Mittals would not step up....how do you know that?
Because that's what you've heard? That's what you've been told?
Whatever the reason, I can tell you this. If I wanted to buy something, the value of which can fluctuate greatly dependent on supply and demand, the last thing I'd be doing is telling anyone that I was interested in buying it.
Back to the period during which the FL were looking at Flav and Crashgate, there were various indications that the Mittals (or possibly Amit) would step in if Flav went. Bernie was also quoted as saying that if Flav went, he would stay.
Now again, talk is cheap. But for those one here claiming definitive inside knowledge about the business plans of the Mittals and Amit, I think you're in need of a cup of tea and a bit of a talking to from your mum.

Fighting a rellagation battle with Div 1 quality players.... now we've got a promotion winning team (almost) and we need to get a descent manager in to lead them!
Let's not forget, this team was riding high, and this team has not been able to train under Hart because of the weather.
I'm not saying that there's nothing wrong..... but we are miles away from the take over team IMHO

Agree about the manager, but I don't see a promotion winning team, not even almost.Final Version - Hope you like it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1z0UQ0eqRM
