Not a special tallent but a tallent nevertheless. Unlike Reid (who I believe deserved more of a chance as I feel he's class) Quashie has also proved his match fitness of late so he's ready to rock.

As I said, he's an honest player who sticks to what he's good at. Protecting the back four whilst creating opportunities for the attackers.
Unfortunately, because he's not quite Iniesta, many of our fans aren't happy. No doubt he'll get the same abuse Mahon received, but I'll be backing him to win over the boo boys and become an important 1st teamer.
The kind of attributes possessed by a certain skipper, Gavin Mahon and sadly missing at the moment. It is the very same posters that have slated him over the last year (and then contradicted themselves by saying how much we miss him) that are now doing the same with Quashie before he has even signed.

For as long as I can remember I have tried to support players like Mahon because the invaluable work they do does not set the world on fire and doesn't get noticed by many, until of course they are missing from the side and bang all of sudden the penny drops. We clearly need a player in this mould, whether Quashie is the right one remains to be seen but for christs sake at least see if he fits the role before you slate him.

And remember, we are looking for him to do what's been missing since Mahon got injured, not do what the likes of Adel and co try to do = he will not excite you and will never look like a star player (just like Mahon) but if he does the same job, then some of our so called flair players may just start to perform again, in the knowledge that the engine room is ticking behind them.

Long live Gavin Mahon - an unsung hero, much maligned and misunderstood but even more than than, hugely missed in W12.

Basically, he'll do the sort of job Mahon was doing at the start of the season. He is a bloke who just wants to play football and earn his cash. Has a soft spot for our club too which indicates he's in it for the right reasons. He'll never have us on the edges of our seats but he'll enable those types of players to do the entertaining.
        I agree.

Providing Quashie stays fit, he will fill in Mahon's role. So perhaps we will see him & Faurlin form a partnership in midfield to protect the back four, with Taarabt, Routledge, Buzsaky & Simpson getting back to creating chances and scoring goals.

Leigeertwood can go back to the RB position.

Agree apart from the Legs to right back, we need another right back and a selection of players in midfield.
