People want a proven manager?? He's proven. As proven as it gets.
If Paul Hart was on a 3 year deal, then yes, it would be wrong to talk about the next boss now... but he's got 16 weeks left of this season on his contract.

This will never happen because he does not accept anyone interfering with the way he does things and in his contract, he has a clause stating that he decides who comes and go's to the club he manages. He won his case against West Ham because they sold two players, without his permission, hence him quitting and winning his case.
Flavio will never allow this, so get used to the fact that Martin Allen will be the next manager at W12 as he will promoted from chief scout, when Hart is fired.

True, but maybe now Flavio + Board know that the only way they will get QPR in the premiership is by having a top manager and allowing him to do his job and back him, someone who is a good tactician and good at man managing players. Thats where e.g billy davis comes in, he's not a huge name but he is good at what he does.
Looking at it, I think the board know that they made mistakes (and learning the hard way), it really wouldn't suprise me come May 15th Alan Curbishley is announced as new QPR manager with Hart & Harford as coaches... Its now just a question of seeing out this season and getting ready for the next.

one person though has said that he don't believe he will be a good appointment, so from what i'm learning about this board and reading inbetween the lines, we won't be seeing curbs this summer

In minority but wouldn't be overwhelmed by his being appointed. Did great at Charlton for a while. Started turning sour and he jumped ship to Wet Spam. Did ok there but no better than that. Yes I know we are talking Premiership ok but if we had a choice would much rather go for Coppell or a decent young manager looking to make step up. Di Matteo type character although WBA obviously got to him first!
I can see Curbishley doing a Gerry Francis or George Graham and never really getting back on track managerially. If he does join, which I doubt, hope I am proved massively wrong but for moment just waiting to see how Hart and Harford do in next few months.

These days QPR seem to be putting out more propaganda than Goebbels at his best.
Curbishley at QPR? You must be joking.
It seems to be in FB and GP's DNA that they will
(1) interfere in the playing side
(2) listen to the manager's opinions about signings then do the opposite
(3) get blown this way and that by events
(4) fail to think through the consequences of their actions
things that a sane and well regarded manager like Curbishley would avoid like the plague.
We are in a very uncomfortable place where managers are concerned and I can't see that changing while FB is Chairman or Paladini is DOF.
