I could understand a site that started after the takeover and even appreciate that fans are not happy now, but the Indyr;s web site was set well before the takeover through the dark days of the club. I am sure certain posters on here plus my self can confirm the negativity was happening when we were bottom of the league struggling relegation and they were attacking then. Current position in the league just gives them more ammunition and to a degree more listeners because we are not doing well. It plays on the negatvity. whereas most can take a look at the bigger picture, be negative when it needs to be and be positive when its needed to be.

I never saw many complaints when we were playing good football in October for instance and in the space of 3 months, things don't suddenly become undesirable or terrible, but if you play on the negativity and keep banging on about it, sometimes it will stick especially when the club are struggling on the pitch.

Because I tend to come and defend all aspects of the club, it then becomes personal with accusations that I've just supported the club or get freebies. Why is that?? Simply, they have nothing else. They want supporters on-side and anything they can do to blacken someone's name they will do.

As I said, this has been going on for years, it rears its ugly head when the club are struggling, they don't like postivity. The moment I posted we are after 4-5 players, I got the usual attackers using any excuse, to try and dampen any positivity. This great club is like a Political Party, that political party has not simply been born in the last 3 months, its been going on for about 5 years. I saw a quiet small select group of fans go very silent, when Flavio first come into the club, why?? I know why, at last it seemed the club could be united and very difficult to find a negative angle, 2 years down the line its much easier to find.

I wish like most fans we do well and push up the table, then hopefully these people quieten down again, as they will have nothing to whinge about.
    In a nutshell.

If you play on the negatvity enough, when things are going not so well your audience will be bigger, you have nothing left when things are positive. That to me demonstrates an agenda, that is only used when it suits.

BY the way, this thread is not defending one particular person, just an emphasis, that in general all this negativity has been going on for years.

Yep, and once again the main issue is sidetracked... and the "me, me, me" stuff starts again.

I couldnt give a stuff about what people say about GP, Pete or any of that.
It only matters to a select few who are feeling all targeted and attacked by a few dozen keyboard merchants. Website nonsence, and dented egos.

What matters is whether GP's role is a good thing for QPR, not him as a person, or how unfair he feels treated, or how Pete gets stick for this website.... and that's the big problem.

A few dozen people in this tiny little web-world give totally the wrong impression about how the vast majoriy of QPR fans feel.
I'm guessing that feeling is: Who gives a stuff about websites, GP, or anything other than what's best for QPR??

What's the point anyway? As if FB is going to realise that English football clubs are far more successful if they have a good manager, and none of this Director of Football nonsence.
That's a fact, but let's have another debate about "GeeePeee", "Negativity" and Pete, eh?

Sorry Gianni but we are all held accountable if we dont do our jobs right, also when you involve peoples passions you dice with death.

There are better people out there that could do a better job than you. Leave now before it gets too tough.

makes you wonder how they run anything......if they read the boards and still get everything wrong regarding fans, manager & transfers then there is no hope of moving forward.

Unfortunately for him, he currently occupies a role at QPR that is not needed.
Director Of Football. It's a structure that is not working, and he holds that role.

I have no problem whatsoever with GP being given another role within the club, and I do genuinely believe that he has done good things for the club in the past, under very tricky circumstances.

All I want is for a good manager to come in and be allowed to do his job his way, within a set budget, with set targets.

The problem is that the extreme views on GP as a person are the ones that catch the eye on messageboards, and are the ones that are wrongly taken as the majority opinion of normal QPR fans.
Whereas I honestly believe that most QPR fans simply aren't that fussed about the bloke... they just want the team to be given the best possible chance to succeed, and don't see his role as helpful towards that.
That's certainly where I stand on this.

For most, it's not personal towards him... but you can see why it looks that way to him, and others.

Well said. To discuss in a polite manner is a completly hopeless project to get working on this and most other sites related to QPR. Embarrasing really.:devil:

With the amount of managers were going through, Is a certain person attempting to destroy the club for personal gain, cos a frigging monkey would not make the mess this lot have who are running our great club.
            They seek him here.................

The best possible way to succeed is for Flavio to say

"here is 10 million quid, get us promoted"

Realistically that is not going to happen

Is being unhappy, angry, and sometimes speechless classed as being negative?

Yes, 5 years ago people were negative, and there will be in 10 years. There will always be some substance of negativty among the fanbase.

At the moment, i think people are just unhappy at what our club has become.

IS the fact that we are seen as a laughing stock by the media down to a few people giving their opinions on MBs as well?

There is alot of negativity at the moment for a reason.

The club do read the boards, they have done since the sousa incident.

I personally was confronted by the head of security at QPR, who had a wodge of print offs from here and ejected from the ground not that long ago....

Mutley, if you opinion has changed from 3 months ago and you are more negative now, fair enough..

if its been the same for the past 4 years, then maybe you should be looking on the positive side.

We have a club to support
We did not go into administration
We are not selling our best players anymore
                      We are not fighting relegation
                      The stadium facilities are improving
Players wages are being paid (unlike Crystal Palace who will be selling their best players)

If you are a club that get 13,000 supporters each week in London, then aboves are positives.

This post defends gp though pete? By using the words Vendetta and agenda, you are suggesting that posters ( indyr's inparticular) are set out to rid the man.

Maybe you should take the time to read ALL the messageboards like i have, realise that the majority of fans have more of an issue with his role at the club rather than GP personally.

The only conclusion i can draw is you defend him as it causes controversy and debate, similar to Adrian Durham. You seem a fairly inteligent bloke and to not be able to see "outside the box" smells a bit fishy to me

                                Of course its a vendetta.

Same names, same comments now for 3-4 years.. They just get read more, when things are negative, nothing wrong with that, thats what they play on.

The club needs improving in all aspects, from players to board its not one person. 10th in the league is not a disaster, some are treating it like the season is over and we are all doomed.
