Curbishley would be fine by me if we are going to change again but he must be allowed to do the job properly, no sporting director no interference otherwise they might as well just stick some names in a had pull one out and sack him after 3 months again
its New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks

Should not be any talk about a new manager until the end of the season.

Paul Hart has taken on a job where no-one else was interested to do it for 6 months, this talk just destablises the club even more. I don't know who had thrown the bone to the Daily Mail or if its just a rehash of an old story, but Hart needs no distractions and allowed to do his job.

Not sure I understand. Hart signed a short term deal didnt he?

Its now that we should be lining up a replacement to avoid faffing around in the summer trying to get any old recently sacked or out of work manager.

Curbs would be mental to take the job. He's shown that he works best when in total control of all things football and with a stable board which isn't the climate he'd be working in with us. Also don't forget he left West Ham because of board interference with signings.

                  De Canio pleassseee
                  Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                  And many more mistakes

Can't believe this is a serious question. Curbs all day long - would he take the job under the current set up? No way jose...

Don't believe this is a serious story - the headline is a bit strange.
QPR to go for Curbishley OR De Canio? Funny way of putting it.
idle speculation/rehash of old story or rumour.

To be honest i was under the impression that Hart had taken the job for short term, and he knows this. i think that if it is curbs in the summer then 1. why cant he come in now as i am sure the west ham thing is over. and 2. if true can he get involved now in transfer targets for when or if he took control.
Dyslexic so please don't feel the need to correct my spelling mistakes as I really don't give a **** and before you say use spell checker if it is spelt right / wright but not in context spell check is useless

IMO the club should be doing everything it can to squash these rumours in the paper and give their full support to Paul Hart even if he is here for 6 months. Give the man an incentive to do well in the job for christ sake, enabling him to set himself his own goals for his tenure.

Why would he care less if there isn't a possible extension to his contract if he does well?

                                Agree w12.

If Hart knows he has no future what is his incentive to succeed. He knows that none of the top clubs would touch him as he is destined to finish his career in a youth academy. We should be doing everything we can to motivate him and assure him that if he is successful he'll be kept on in some capacity.

The only way we will get Curbs is if the Sporting Director role is removed and if we appoint De Canio then the Sporting Director role is here for the long term.
