Is there a successful English side with a Sporting Director?
paladini is not a sporting director he's a lying cheating flithy ****bag that this club needs rid of, #### licking every move of briatore to keep his job.
The only one I know of and consider to be doing an "alright" job is Barry Fry at P/Boro.....The difference between him and Gi Gi de clownio is that he is a football man having managed at many many different levels for many years in comparison to an ex-football agent who is shrouded in controversy and everything he touches turns to mush
From the Hills of Kerry
To the streets of Free Derry
no,none of the managers would put up with it;that is why keegan went and the toon got relegated
It's incredible that clubs still persist with the role.
In almost EVERY example, it clearly doesn't work, particularly in English football... and should be ditched at QPR.
Just like at Spurs. They cottoned on, eventually.
But as I've said in another thread, saying that just sparks off the old "GP Debate" on messageboards, when it's not actually about him... but it always end up that way.
I wouldn't want a Director of Football role in place at QPR, no matter who was in that role. Full stop.
It never works in this country, it is a completely farcical position usually created to make room for someones ego until they fail miserably and get driven out of the club!
paladini knows as much about decent players as michael fish does about the weather..............#### all...........the joe dolce lookalike should sticka to da ice a creama making wid da mumma!
