Just taken my eldest swimming, then spent 30mins watching the local fire brigade trying to save a dog that had fallen through the ice into the pond. Poor ****** was in there for at least 20mins and in typical fashion, the specialist fire tender arrived with frogmen/boats etc and he managed to eventually crawl to within grabbing distance of his own accord.
