Paul Parker was a boyhood hero of mine, I felt pride amongst my class mates when he represented England. I met him on several occasions and he always found time for the fans, more than the current bunch .I am intrigued to know why he only lasted a short time whilst doing his pr work

yeah i remember his goal against luton and the scoreboard couldnt get its head round him scoring ........"The kids missed everything from Queens Park Rangers to Conkers".
London Pride has been handed down to us.
London Pride is a flower that's free.
London Pride means our own dear town to us,
And our pride it for ever will be.

A true hero. I agree about Wilson, superb player too and a real unsung hero. I cannot think of a better left back not to play for England. Come to think of it I cannot think of a better left back to play for Rangers since Ive been going since 1980.

Sansom was a better player, but not while at QPR.. he was past it by then.
Obviously none of them can touch Gary Borrowdale for sheer quality, I mean who could??
Who needs cover at full back when we have him?? It's like having 3 players extra.
