Would anyone be seriously annoyed if forest got promoted this year?

The relationship between Blackstock and Briatore deteriorated so much, that had he stayed, he would probably still have refused to sign a new deal (if offered another one) and would now be looking at leaving for a fee of around £250K.

So I think QPR did well to sell him, the problem is he wasn't really replaced. Pellicori is his replacement and is useless and Simpson was signed as a replacement for Helguson.

I wouldn't mind Forest going up. I think the board have seen the likes of Burnley and Hull go up with loans and no signings more than £1.35m and thought we could do exactly the same. If Brom and Newcastle go straight back up along with a big spending club it will show the board they have to spend to achieve promotion as we can't compete against that.

He never had a good word to say about him when he outed him at Derby and that come from his month into my ear and now cos he's getting his way his mouth changes... When things go sour for him what out for flying toys. As for GP cut, that my friend is complete rubbish too! Believe what you want of that... Main reason for him being outed was for messing with Flavio's woman, as well as a member of bar staff, a receptionist and a member of the catering.

As for selling Dexter, don't get me started. Pellicori (or whatever his name), Agyemang, HH and Vine were all names that should have been outed before him. I blame sections of our supporters for him going... I hope the pie tastes nice!
Thats quite alot of assumptions.

Forest is a great club with a great history. Back to back European Cups with the late great Brian Clough, they deserve there place for that reason alone amongst this countries elite, good luck to them.

Oh and they have spent better than us.

I wont be happy, no trip to hooters next season or the wonderfull kebabs opposite the larwood. good club though and fair play to them, enough people on here could see what thy were doing last summer and wanted us to sign some strikers instead we got pellicori and a winger who we were told would score 15 goals
its New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks

They have bought better, not many forest fans were happy at the start.

Don't know what they have spent, but it must be millions more than us

I would along with many other football fans like to see Forest go up, they have worked as a team and we were all saying that they are showing signs of ambition.

Good luck to them to be honest and a job well done.

I'd be happy for them. My impression was that they spent a fair old bit in the summer and they were one of my pre-season tips for the top. They had a slowish start with a lot of draws but seem to have hit their stride now. I thought they were a bit better than us at LR back in Autumn despite us sharing the spoils. So I think they're where they are now on merit so fair play to them.

I thought he should have been kept and said so at the time.

I also think that QPR missed out on appointing Davies when they gave Dowie the job instead.

I predicted a good season for Forest and will be happy to see them go up. The board there have backed him with the finances needed to rebuild the squad. He has signed players for all positions and has options up front with Earnshaw, Tyson and added Blackstock, McGoldrick and Adebola.

QPR's board could have Davies and backed him, but opted not to because they know better.

I predict Forest will go up this or next season and QPR will still be a mid-table side hoping to find a way to go up.

Hull (2008), Burnley (2009), Forest (2010?) and Leeds or Leicester (2011?).
I was advocating for Billy Davies too before the totally underwhelming appointment of Dowie...........
