for the record i live in the new flats by the wembley arena / stadium and there is no way the council would permit an event to take place in these conditions

The roads are fine but the pavements are seriously dodgy

My missus broke her knee in similar circumstances this time last year in these conditions we are seeing now

the club are right to call this off, they cant be blamed for adverse weather conditions

So if the roads around Wembley are so "seriously dodgy", why is The Masters Snooker at Wembley Arena on today then? Never in doubt.

And "The France Show" at Earls Court... that's on.

It's because football fans are not thought of in the same way, and are treated like s*** by the authorities, and their own clubs at times.
NOT just QPR, before you leap in and defend them.

I agree with Arsene Wenger on this. It's a culture of the authorities treating football fans differently from everyone else. Like we are all drunken thugs who will cause havoc and safety issues for the rest of society... unlike all the plebs at "The France Show". (That should be good!)
And of course, all those civilised folk who will be slipping and sliding their way down Wembley Way to watch Peter Valium take on Stephen Mogadon over the best of 821 frames today.
Although the under-baize heating saved that thrilling encounter.... oh, and it's live on TV.
