Mate he's a physical player, has done well for Hull in this league, and I seen him play well at Int'l level......Physical players up front do well in this league historically, and he's actually got some ability...or are Trapatoni and Phil Brown both idiots?
He's only surplus at Hull coz they've gone onto another level he's not quite good enough for (prem) but he is def good enough to do well i this leage

PLUS Played 48 times for Hull when they went up (scored 9) but he is the physical player, Simpson is the scorer...it's a tried and tested method mate, and it worked for Hull.........

i dont expect big money signings like the names you mentioned,but a bit of ambition from the board would go a long way to appease the ill feeling towards the board.
cant see the point in bringing in players like Faye,Folan & Cousin who between them have hardly played all season so we are used once again to get two bob journeymen fit. i no we do need to strengten these areas these players play but with these players it aint gonna happen.

Faye-cant pass,aint that gr8 at tackling either,& not a leader on the pitch we really need.
Folan-170 apps-26 goals(very prolific)
cousin-prob the best of a bad bunch.

the board have clearly given up this season & why people expect any difference come the summer is beyond me,cos no doubt something else will give them another excuse not to invest in the player department with perm signings!

I would imagine on the basis that we need a target man and Dave isn't it, so if Folan can win more than one header in a match he will be a 100% improvement.

Norfolk, I'm not sure the Board have given up this year.
If so, why employ a New Manager ? Why bring in 2 more Wages ? Why not stick with Gallen & Bircham ?

That's not to say I've any confidence they'll get it right with Hart/Harford or anyone else. But given up ? No, not yet. Only Half the season gone.

Cousin is a good signing, but does he worth it as he is on international duty now? Forlan is a horrible striker. I have never seen him score.

Sorry don't agree. Why should we constantly be used by players wanting to get match fit or be in the shop window to get a perm move elsewhere. Loans are NOT the answer and all we ever get is players thy are not wanted by their clubs. Why not BUY potential?
