The return of Lee Cook certainly lifted the supporters spirits initially.

Get the feeling there isn't the same fan connection with the team that there was a few years back when everyone was more united than they are today for reasons well documented.

However, I don't believe we should bring these players in for sentimentality or because it's good PR (which I think was how the Cookie signing was perceived) but because they can do a good job for us.

Sadly, I think if they are bought back it will be seen as a PR stunt by many to get the fans back on board. And to be honest, they might be right.

But if they come in and improve the team...? Happy Days and everyone's a winner.
