A LEADING national tabloid is today claiming that Coca-Cola Championship side Queens Park Rangers, are interested in Accrington Stanley's youngster Robert Grant.
As we reported earlier on Vital Accrington, Grant has been offered a new and improved contract to keep him at the Crown Ground as his current deal expires in the summer.
However QPR gaffer Roy Keane could be set to throw a spanner into the works with a five figure transfer fee, however Stanley aren't needing to sell after the clubs debts were resolved with a new investor.
The 19-year-old has made over 50 appearances for John Coleman's side since making his debut at the age of 16 at the end of the 2006/07 season. He has found the net on 13 occassions, including eight this term alone.
Whether or not there is any truth to the rumours or not remains to be seen, as it is the time of year when these reports seem to get carried away.
I dont know if Pete informs for them or not but they seem to be as accurate.
