      No He doesn't.

QPR own the ground, but have a loan secured against it... the loan is owned by an offshore company which is under the control of the QPR director shareholders.

Briatore and Bhatia already own the ground. The club doesn't. AFAIK, the ground is owned by Sarita (Briatore and Bhatia's company) not just the loan secured against it.

Either way why wouLd you buy a club and act in the way the board have done over the last 12 months, They must know how all this adverse publicity is not good for a clubs image, i really do not understand how very successful and wealthy business men would do what they are doing. Money is being spent yes but in all wrong places (payoffs for sacked managers, dodgy signings) and all this is at the determent of growing the club's most important asset the fans who are being completely alienated. I do not trust Briatore and believe me his motivation for owning QPR is very different to ours.

I have long thought the same thing. Turning LR into residential properties would see a far better return than gaining promotion to the PL IMO. So far I have not seen any indication that they really want top flight football, so GARO1967 could well be right IMHO.
Opinions are like A******s, everyone has one, but nobody wants to see the other guy's.

Yea, but no but..... look at the audited accounts!.... they show that the ground is still owned by the company... but there is a secured loan on it; the ABC loan was taken over, the ground has never been sold or transferred.

Stop making it up as you go along

Not what I've been told so we'll differ there. I don't make stuff up. At the age of 39, I'm well past the wind up, attention
                  seeking stage.

                  Taking your version....

Say you have a mortgage on your property for £20m. The lender decides, with notice, to foreclose on the loan as they wish to leave the company. As such, they demand repayment of the full loan. Which you can't pay. Who gets the property?

Watford find themselves in an identical situation to that very hypothosis

Watford was about Simpson and Ashcroft trying to shaft Russo for the money he had put in, the only thing that Russo could do was to play hardball.

As I understand it Simpson and Ashcroft didn't put anything into WFC it was all Russo's money and then they voted him out. At QPR, I thought all 3 parties had put money in ?
