Boa Morte was first loaned than bought and someone like Horsfield cost around £250,000, are just examples.
They had dud buys too like Kevin Betsy, Callum Willock and ELvis Hammond
Its being highlighted for two reasons. Firstly to prove they spent money on players (2 million a decade ago is more like 5 million in todays market) even though they had low attendances and secondly, to prove that your facts and in fact, false.

When we/if we get promoted the crowds will increase to around 20,000 easy and if they expanded the ground 25,000.
Again comparing it to Fulham, when Al Fayed first took over they never got pass 6,000 supporters every week. We are already starting from a higher fan base.
Similar to Wigan who used to get 4,000 fans and it took Whelan 15 years top get them into the premiership
2. They won't expand the ground to 25000 overnight.
3. Even a capacity of 25000 will be pretty much the lowest in the Prem. So where will the additional money come from to pay big wages and compete for big names in the Prem?

We get these 5 players of the wage bill and we can afford £30k a week Kitson + 1 No. LB + 1No. RB = A lovely balanced team.
We have Buzsaky, Faurlin, Legiertwood & Eprhiam all capable of playing centre midfield....with Mahon due back from injury.
We have Taarabt, Simpson, Balanta, & German who can play up front.
In a ideal world we would offload Vine+Ageymang+Hall+Ramage+Helguson to free up some space on our wage bill but someone put them on long term contracts of more than double their market worth. Unbelievably the biggest asset we have out of these 5 players is also the biggest crock, Vine & Ageymang have already refused to go out on loan this season according to various reports and no one is going to touch Hall & Ramage above League 1.
The issue is not our turnover it is offloading some of the higly paid dross at the club.

Sie Les, the point being we could compare like for like.
they spent on players, so have we
They had c.rap players..so do we.
All in all it took Fulham 4 years to get into the premiership under Al Fayed. Almost ten years on they are established premiership side. I am sure they had ups and downs along the way, just like us.
Whose to say in 5 years time, we are not in a similar boat. Some want success immediately and that does not always happen. I'm sure Notts County expect to be top this season, they are not. leeds fans hated Ken Bates at first, its taken them ages to get out of League 1, reality is nothing is ever acheived in a relative short time like 2 years, which is roughly where we are. Sometimes, I think we expect miraclesALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.

Quaz, think this board is made up of personal opinions.
Thats what they are, the moment I start saying your opinions is based on what pkloft has to say, it wouldn't make sense would it?
If you look at my posts on here, I am not defending any individual, just expressing a view promotions take time and comparative to our crowds, you'll find money is being invested, but they are not splashing the cash for the sake of itALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.
