Has anybody here actually seen him play more than a couple of times in the last year? If not, then you realy don't have any basis either way for an opinion.

I'd rather save our pennies up for summer signings. He's past it, and it is a pointless signing.
But I'm gald someone is happy about it, apart from Nige.
ps. gp has to go,no question.

who could we get who is better? who in their right mind would wana sign for us? time for a few on here 2 be realistic. yeh he was at mk dons, but beckford is playing in same division, but we would have him in a heartbeat ffs. and we all know beckford would only come 4 money, where as we all know quashie will play for the shirt, he loves the club and will put in 100% week in week out. Give him and the owners a break.

I can't see in the post where either of us suggests that these players will be our defensive midfield pivot?
I'm not denying we need a defensive midfielder, i do like his suggestion that we should give the youngsters a chance, Balanta inparticular, as the names being touted about are not worth adding to the wage bill.

look, given this is a thread about nigel quashie signing it follows that when someone says they'd rather sign no one (and play the kids instead) then that is expressly in reference to quashie's signing - which is what goddard meant when he made the original statement after all.
i agree that we'd be better off playing balanta and perhaps even sterling than getting in some of the pony strikers that we've been linked to but that's a different argument.

i just think we should be playing our players.give them the opportunity to improve thier skills at a higher level, for our benefit.lets try to reduce the the loans and begin to become a club once again.no guarantee hart here beyond end of season, why bring players in?.especially of the quality that has been mentioned.dare we mention contract length.
