Brings a bit of a tear to the eye.
I sort of get fed up with people saying, "oh, so you preferred it back then when we were in financial difficulties blah blah blah..."
No-one want to see their club struggling financially.
BUT...I was enjoying Rangers far more then; felt as though the club valued fans instead of dismissing us as unimportant, verging on undesirable; and that we ALL worked together to a common purpose.
It's THAT spirit which has been lost -- and having financial stability doesn't have to mean the the end of fan/club unity (with ALL fans, not just a select or pushy few).
The sooner the board realises they are there for the financial day-to-day running, and that the manager manages the football side of things, and that he knows best what the squad/team needs, the better.
Flavio et al need to learn how valuable DELEGATION can be -- otherwise, they WILL get us out of the CCC, but at this rate it will be downwards, not upwards.
(And before anyone hits back with, "Oh so you were happy with bucket collections and sponsored walks were you?" -- read my post carefully. I'm saying financial stability and fan/club unity are not, and should never be, mutually exclusive.)Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########
