All the speculation about who earns what just shows that nobody knows

I have heard from a reliable source that at Burnley no player is on more than 17k per week. I think we could do a lot better than currently, paying only reasonable wages, if we moulded a team together and gave it time to gel. To do that we need to spend the money on a fantstic manager, whose wages would probably be similar to our best players.

In what other industry does the manager earn less than his staff!!!

I understand where you are coming from but you can't compare West London to Burnley as houses are half the price. 17k at Burnley is probably equivalent to 25k in London. But I do think we need stability and maybe Hart can give us that, he is well respected by players and at the end of the day it is them that count.

Prem Players start from around 25k, normally 30k and can raise to 200k a week. (chelsea for example)

Teams like Burnley and Wolves its around 20k a week maximum.

The sad thing is previously QPR players would not earn more than 5k a week and probably put more in. Our wage cap is set at between 15-17k a week, who is on what is not my business, but generally the average is around 10-12K. Many of the players we have taken a drop esepcially when they have been bought from the premiership. Normally with loans the premiership club pays around half, so thats why its difficult to attract permanant buys, because players are generally interested in money, they would argue they have short careers, with many ending at the age of 34-35 at championship level.

Reality is, it not a level playing field and anyone outside the premiership or don't have parachute payments will find it difficult to attract quality players.
