Hopefully, these new people that we are bringing in. Hopefully, they can pass to their team mates.

It's a bit like Ainsworth. He's a great man and I love him to bits, but having him in the side won't get us promoted.
funny how you are blaming it all on legs....you honestly think one player is needed to take us forward.....thats how it sounds....try looking at the board for not taking the club "forward"

He plays a big part in how we play. Look how poor we have been playing since Mahon got injured. He could tackle, read a game and pass.

We will obviously not agree about him, but at the end of the day with him in centre mid we will not get promoted in my opinion.

I think to play centre mid you need to have the basics like having a good first touch, being good at passing and having good awareness. He lacks these qualities.

How difficult is it teaching if kids are continually taking the p.ish?? Their you have it, don't get on his back and he might do even better. I'm sure whatever profession we are in, we have more chance of succeeding without the negativity around us.
Face it though,we get a couple of good games out of him and odd goals, most of the time he cant find a blue & white hoop.:very_sad:

The 4 you have named are in and out of the team. Leigterwood is a regular. For the record I don't think those 4 are good enough to take us forward as well.

We only have about 5 or players that I rate which will take us forward.

Fair enough, but seriously in the next game watch him closely and observe

                        1. His first touch

                        2. His awareness

                        3. His passing

I'd be interested to hear your opinions after you have observed these things.

didnt sheff utd and palace get promoted and play in the prem with him?

in my opinion i think we could get promoted with legs at CM as long as we bought 2 quality strikers.

he is a good player at this level

Don't think many of the players get slagged off during games. Yes, on message boards, but they don't read them so they won't know.

If you sit near the touch line then you can shout the odd comment at players. But once at a game, whoever is playing you support the team.

I think if you deserve to be our captain, then you should lead by example.

Rowlands can do all those things and we are mssing him, badly.

I singled him out because he is one of about 5 who are regulars who I don't think is playing well.

                                Cerny- having a decent season

Gorks- not as good as last season, but still doing well

Routledge- has had a good season

Simpson- I have been impressed with. Scored some very important goals.

Out of the regulars, he is the one letting us down I am afraid.
