from an Arsenal buddy, that Simpson will sign permantly for us in the next couple of days in exchange for Sterling who is signing for Arsenal. This is one of the Premiership strikers that pete was talking about. He seems pretty certain about this and i suppose its no great shock.

Great news imoUnder Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Good news. Lets hope there's a sell on clause. If he turns out as some people expect, he could be worth a fortune.Opinions are like A******s, everyone has one, but nobody wants to see the other guy's.

We are in 2nd tier if club have been offered good money, it makes good business sense.

My problem is Man Utd, City, Chelsea, Arsenal, England all know he is class and gonna get better. They can't all be wrong. Simpson is worth, what £1m, maybe £1.5m so why risk letting Sterling go for relative peanuts when the "richest owned club in the world" can simply buy Simpson and keep Sterling.
If it was say Taarabt and he had been doing well and we have to pay £5m for him then yes, you would have to weigh up the options but I'm just a little gutted to be letting Sterling leave without seeing him
