I was being sarcastic mate. Pete and a few others stated that Faurlin was J&J's find. But, It's got giannis dirty pawprints all over it, add ons, sell ons, ownership issues. It will allcome out in the wash soon.

Sousa granted permisssion for Blackstock to go to Nottingham Forest., having left him out for two games previously Dexter's agent got him a deal on loan. He was frustrated being left on the bench and left out completely for one game (cannot rememember which) when he returned from Portugal he gave the go-ahead, later that day it was confirmed.

The conspiracy theorists will throw all sorts of alterations to that chain of events, but thats what Happened.

Are you sure our best striker wasnt happy because he thought he had a new contract which he had accepted and GP had said was sorted but when the wages went through the money did not reflect the new contract and on further investigation it was discovered that Briatore had never ratified the contract, Blackstock was in limbo and unhappy and Sousa decided he wasnt in the right mindset to play at that time.

That is an alleged version of the events that I have heard from various places, and it seems quite plausible.

However Im unsure that you can label your version of events fact unless you are 100% sure that is what occurred. Ie you were there or involved.
Or are you meaning that it's a fact that this version of the events is what you've been told.

But, one thing I have to pick you up on.

Sheila role was completely different to Gianni. I know Sheila quite well and she likes Gianni alot, in fact second to Jim Gregory second best chairman she worked for. i hope she doesn't mind me saying that, as not really fair to involve her in this, but I know that for a fact as I spoke to her at length about it.

Sheila would do all the paperwork for the deals, are you suggesting she chose the players??

Sousa did not fancy Blackstock. He was within his right, after all he was manager. The toruble is, when he said he didn't know about him going to Forest is a total untrue. He didn't want him, that really is the truth.

qprsouth, it must be getting to you now. Problem is I am not actually defending anyone, I'm stating facts. It doesn't fit into your agenda, but those are the facts.

If you want to say negative stuff about Gianni, I will.

Tckamonte, Oliseh, Sturridge are just 3, but since the takeover he is diong a very god job. If he wasn;t, than he wouldn't last 3 months under Flavio and the board.

Trouble is they own the club, you and I don't. Its just opinion that you and I have, end of the day it carries very little weight.

Just to add, we really don't have a director of football anyway. GP is chairman in all but name. When the football league have chairman meetings, who turns up for example...Yes, you've guess it and its not Flavio.
