Ray Jones for player of the season?

If the season continues the way it is, then I would find it very hard to vote for anyone as player of the season and I have been to every game.

Maybe the players would realise how angry we all are, if we voted for Ray Jones. He is one of our squad players and he epitomised what we as the fans stand for.

The players are over paid, on long contracts and not giving the performances consistently of what we as the fans expect and deserve.

Whilst I appreciate the sentiments..........

and it might get some sort of message accross I think there are more pressing concerns than dragging all this up again. I'm not really quite sure that you are correct in your assumption that he stood for what the fans feel etc (or however you phrased it).

We're getting into dangerous territory here by somehow holding up RJ as some sort of paragon of virtue and the embodiment of the club etc when he died under such irresponsible circumstances driving a powerful and expensive car at such a young age. Whilst I also appreciate it was a tragedy don't forget how his actions affected the lives of the familes of the passengers!!

What a great way to get some unity back amongst the fans, my only problem with that is the board may take it as some kind of protest and refuse it and that would make things worse. Good call though

personally I feel using any tragedy to make a point and about something different & serve self interest is disrespectful and in poor taste.
