What makes him such a supreme champion of the defence?? just wondered, because I keep hearing he was building the team from the back.

just to add in that 12 game spell we scored 7:cry::cry::cry::cry:

Now you'll trying to convince me that was progression.

Please excuse me for my language, but you really are an i.diot.

      The Blackmafia,

you cannot compare attendances pre SKY days.

Fact is in recent years, once these clubs have got promotion or stayed in the premiership, for all clubs crowds have increased enormously.

      Wolves
      Birmingham
      WBA
      Stoke
      Reading
      Sheffield united
      Wigan
      #Bolton

The same would happen to us, if you do not believe we would get 20.000 every week in the premiership, I would have to disagree.

        Played 12

        Scored 7 conceded 12

Is not building from the back, like many would like me to believe. As I said, simply a smokescreen to provide an argument to suit an agenda

            You are joking

Stats don't lie, his defensive record was no better than Dowie, yet he managed to score less. End of the day, he has gone and stats don't lie, whatever why you want to cook them.

All pretty large cities are they not with not much competition around, whereas we have....., thus making my original point prove correct. It does not matter what era it has been, we have not and will not get average gates over 20,000 - unless we are in the Champions league and in the top 4 in the Premiership year in year out - and that aint gonna happen anytime soon.

stats never ever tell the full story.

the fact is that we are now making stupid mistakes at the back. mistakes that would never have happend had sousa been in charge.

we are conceding a whole lot more goals while not even scoring that many in recent games.

it was a joke that he left. most supporters now realise this shame the board didn't at the time

The only smokescreen is the one you are erecting again to suit your agenda. Are Swansea above us? They have conceeded 19 and us 36! Yes we have scored more (us 38, them 21) thanks to 3 good games, yet our goal difference is the same +2, so who is better?

                    wish I could prove it

Reality is we are not playing like we were and the prospects of a play off place look bleak, but if by a miracle Hart can turn this around, we would sell out for the NEWCASTLE game and the one before and if we got promoted, then we would sell 12,000 plus season tickets. Maybe, next season I'll prove it....

you only have to look at the fans who go to chelsea, Villa and manchester united recently in the cups to see the fans who come off the armchair to watch the games

                    • In all honesty Hart is going to turn it around... was the wrong appointment... and why make a short term appointment anyway as he will be off at end of season if not before...

                      • Up to the middlesborough game it was 100 times better this season.

After the Plymouth game we will be above Swansea

We don't have that many armchair supporters whereas Man Utd, Chelsea and Villa do due to their historical successes.

                          • style of football/results wont make a blind bit of difference

in this climate we all have to decrease our spending. many have more important things to spend their money on. so they will only go when they can afford it. come february attendances will pick up as people will start to get over their christmas spending.

we are never going to sell out week in week out with the prices that we charge. to bring a family its much too expensive

                            • Loneranger, I'm not convinced either, but I don't make the decisions.

On the positive side, its a b.loody good incentive to offer a bonus if we reach the play offs and an even bigger one if we get automatic promotion and if I was the owners, thats what I would have offered

                                - but it aint now is it and the season is 46 games long. Why after the Plymouth game? They are on a high and Middlesborough are on a continual low, so I would not get too excited.
