Don't get me wrong, I feel the same....

I don't know what it is, after all we are 8th and have 22 games left, its not as if we will get relegated, (we defiinitely won't), but this fans/players divide is huge and seems very dangerous.

Not quite dangerous is it!? I think the divide in Afghanistan is dangerous to our troops, but here, football, no.

Our club is a total shambles from top to bottom, and wont be back to the way it was for many many years. Infact I can only see it getting worse before it gets better.

But this is better than we've had since the mid 90's!!!....We're just getting over expectant and impatient. Everyone seems to want to Briatore out but how many would have said that a couple of years ago when we were on the brink of Administration???......We could be the Luton of today rather than a top half Championship team with a chance of the play-offs.

So who's to blame? Well possibly the group of proffessionals who decide to scarper from a very expensive POTY bash, who want to be immune from criticism, who want mini-buses to drop them at their cars and who refer to fans as merchant bankers.

Fans shoulder some blame - we want the same unity we had in the face of adversity yet don't appreciate we've moved up a level to signing players who consider themselves demi-gods.

Why does everyone consider a top half Championship place as under-achieving?......We've been out of the top flight for what 16 years??......What was our highest finish since dropping outside of the Premiership barring the 7th in the very first season?

Whos to blame, our fans have allways taken exception to such a huge season ticket price rise, thats where it started!

People paid it becuase of the dream we were fed prem football and all that. So people turned a cheek and believed into the dream.

But, now were 2 seasons or so down and we have come well this far, and what with all the latest drama fans hoped would have ended frustration has built... The only obvious people to get it in the neck is the players because ultimately they are in the fireing line...

Its not the players fault if they arnt good enough, our board with their promises should be buying a better quality of player then maybe we wouldnt be in this mess.

But whatever anyone says, imo the price hike has been at the centre of any issues to date.

• Extortionate price hikes on the promise of a superior "match day experience".
• Managerial merry-go-round
• Changing the crest
• Changing the mascot
• Being priced out of seats they've occupied for the last 30 years
• Players no longer playing for the shirt
• Failed promises
• Becoming a laughing stock
• Gold, silver, bronze price banding
• Lower loft becoming a family stand
• Over zealous stewarding
• Employing an unqualified ex-agent as DOF
• Being rebranded a "boutique club" and a "project"

The players show no fight, that is the least we can expect from them. The fans will always get behind the team, even when things are not going well as long as the players show passion. A few years ago when we were struggling to stay in this division, the players we had then were not as good as the ones we have now but they played with a commitment that some of our current squad lack. We didn't win games by playing better football than our opponents, we won by wanting it more than them. That's what kept us in this league back then.
