...we'd lost 8-0 at home yesterday to a team in the bottom 3, reading the various MB's.
Rather than having beaten another team vying for the play-offs.
Personally, I'd rather we won ugly than lost or drawn beautifully.
Due to illness I had to rely on Internet streaming of the match, so I did see how poor we were, especially the midfield -- but would have still given my right arm to be there.
BECAUSE WE WON AND GOT 3 POINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Only grumble? If Rowly WAS trying to stop players applauding the crowd, as I know from many times in the past that, by the time the players applaud the fans, the booers have gone and the fans left are the ones showing appreciation.
