If Watson is going after Monday he should be immediately dropped. Very poor agst Bristol City, he's surely not going to give 100% if he's off to a promotion rival (well I hope we're still in the running for play-offs). Just hope to God the Mittals stay otherwise we're ****ed.

Watson has done absolutely nothing since arriving so good riddence. His fee / wage can be put to much better use in anarea we aren't already flooded in.
Hope the mittal thing is nothing more than bad rumour.... who' would have bought their shares anyway?

I think it is obvious that Watson is a far better player than his recent performances would indicate. He was excellent for a number of years at Palace and was good enough to interest a number of Premiership clubs this time last year.
You could put his recent performances down to form, or you could question whether the player is interested or you could look at the facts.
We are a club in turmoil, there is no stability anywhere within the club from the playing staff all the way up to the boardroom. Watson has been here less than 6 months and he has already worked under 3 managers (if you include Steve Gallen).
Now to be honest if I was a player on loan at QPR I would have been on the telephone to my agent the minute Jim Magilton was sacked, asking him to find me a new club in January.
Now we can come on here day in day out complain about players not performing or not wanting to wear the hoops or we could look at the real issue here. The club is being run like a dictatorship and the man in charge has no idea what is required to run a succesfull football club. Unfortunately the bad feeling and lack of stability at the club has worked it's way down to the football pitch and is evident on the terraces at every game.
We have created an atmosphere at the club which is simply not beneficial or enjoyable for the players. And it leads me on to the question, why would any of our loan players want to stay and work hard here? If you were Jay Simpson or Adel Taarabt would you want to sign for QPR or would you rather go back to Arsenal/Spurs at the end of the season and see what other offers are made? I know what I would do in their shoes!Last edited by Tarbie; 28-12-2009, 11:10 AM.

Truth is truth. Can't deny it I'm afraid and what Tarbie has written is EXACTLY what is happening and EXACTLY how players, officials and regulators view our club. What league we were in is completely irrelevant and the type of cheap shot used by those on the end of a losing argument.
Shame, yes but the truth. Won't apologise if you don't like to hear it.

Nodge70, not disagreeing with you, however, the fans NEVER accept any responsibility for a lot of the crap that goes on and for me, they are responsible for a lot of the stuff that goes on also.
They moan moan moan about the team and manager etc and to some extent force the hand of the board to move onto the next manager. This happens because the board sees that the manager has lost the backing of the fans etc.
We are in the highest league position we have been for years, yet the moaning won't stop. Even today, people on here are calling for Paldini to go. When will this crap stop?

The solution is simple yet so many choose to ignore it. Too many vested interests I'm afraid.
C'est la vie.
If usually sane people are espousing similar opinions on this particular m'board - and you only need a cursory glance at identical opinions voiced on IndyR's, Report, LFW and dotorg, to know this is, to all intents and purposes, the nearest thing you'll get to a "party line" compared to some of the Socialist Worker invective on the other sites - you know things are bad.
You can fool some of the people all of the time etc etc.....Last edited by Guest; 28-12-2009, 12:12 PM.

Paul Hart has only been in charge two games, not lost yet (hopefully won't today either), however, knowing the way things work at QPR, he is not for from losing his job. Fan power, nothing else.
The board get blamed for Magilton, yet one of the fans favourite players was behind all of that. They had to get rid of the manager or the player. Can you imagine the backlash if they got rid of the player ? What were they supposed to do?

They could have dealt with it the same way Stoke did. Quietly and largely out of the press if they wanted Magilton to stay.
