Can't be right. Pete was quite clear. The shortlist when - oops sorry, if - Sousa went would be Scolari, Trapattoni, Donadoni and Eriksson. Has that changed now the campaign to undermine Sousa is not needed any longer?

ldc is the 'past'............the way forward is with a british manager who knows british players and the effort needed to get out of the ccc.its the easiest league to get in.but the hardest to get out of!

If I remember right LDC did a fine job and went due to personal problems. If he has no personal issues stopping him returning I can't see a problem with him returning. Not like he was a failure and is coming back.

                            I would welcome LDC.

I think he was a great manager, and got us playing some great football, but I am not sure if he would be suited for the role now. Throughout his career, he has been a specialist in consolidating and keeping up struggling teams.

Now that we have consolidated our position somewhat, we need a manager who is given a reign without interference, to continue building the team, with an experience of taking teams up.
