  • Who at the club has offered Leigerwood this new and improved contract?

    Because they need shooting!

It can't have been Hart becuase he has been here 5 mins!

I'm afraid people the Premiership will remain a dream whilst we have this man in our team.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

What are you going to be like in the transfer window?

Well if the club sign some players which will improve the team, then I will have no qualms.

To reach the promised land you have to improve your team. We do the opposite.

      - We sell our top goal scorer and replace him with an unheard of foreigner who is slower than my nan.

      - We keep playing players who don't deserve to be in our team.

      - We play our leading goal scorer on the wing.

      - Our captain can't control a football or pass it to a team mate

      - We have a 6'3 striker who can't jump and win a header

      - We have a player called Hall who is one of the worst players I have ever seen at Rangers

Apart from that I can't wait for the January transfer window!

I think he's better at right back, certainly poor in midfield, but as a right back I thought he did ok.

Its Fitz Hall you should worry about!

An average player who has just come from League 1 called Mark Yeates at Middlesbrough made him look like a mug and a Sunday league player.

He had one good game last season in that position against Stephen Hunt at Reading and then suddenly all our fans think he's Cafu!

I can't wait for Saturday to see him playing cross field passes which go straight into Ellerslie and the Paddocks.

Is he the man we need to be the guvnor in midfield?
Is he the man to solve our RB problem area permanantly?

For me the answer to both is no. He is a useful guy to have as cover in the squad but not enough to warrant that sort of contract.
As for being captain, for me that is a strange one.

Sorry but I actually rate him. Works harder than anyone in team, gets tackles in and makes the simple passes. Will never spray the ball around like say Faurlin but we need grafters too (remember Ollie when he played for instance?). Good team player.

I can't believe I'm faced with watching this donkey play potentially for a another few years....it speaks volumes about the ambitions of this club.

So who is offering him this new contract?

No one has yet to answer the question.

I agree with Hammersmith about Leigertwood and the other players. I also agree with Mutley.

He is not the answer to those positions, but is useful as a squad player. But seriously, a 3year deal on his salary (£10k+ a week?). I think if that is the terms he is on, then it is too much.
