QPR boss Paul Hart is ready to raid old club Portsmouth for defender Mike Williamson and striker Tommy Smith.

      That would be brilliant IMO.

Smith is an excellent player at this level but not a target man or someone that will hold the ball up and/or change the play when needed.

both would change our starting XI..

we still need the target man tho to make the ball stick up top. smith can also play wide left.

tbh as good as adel is..and i rate him..he is hindering our team by playing in the hole. we really need simpson up top with a target man. - hooper :D

Smith knows how to score at this level, but perhaps like Helguson, can only do so for Watford.

I would hate to think that he is only capable of playing in a side that puts a lot of crosses into the box, because QPR don't play that way.

              Is Williamson any good?

Watford accepted a £2 million pound offer potentially rising to £3 million from Portsmouth.

So surely williamson has to be a massive improvement on fat arsed stewart!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

The biggest problem for me is that its very likely Hart wont be here next season so this is purely his attempt to get us in the play off's. We should have a manager in place to mould a team not only to bring us up but to keep us up. When will the owners learn?

I'd be happy enough to get into the play-offs now,

QPR can look at rebuilding for the PL if, or when, they get there.

If QPR went up this season, how many of the current squad would be good enough to play at that level, considering how much hard work they are making this CCC look (Newcastle are romping clear and keeping clean sheets almost every week, which tells us how poor the standard really is)?

I can't really think of any who would look good in the PL next season. Perhaps Gorkss, Faurlin, Simpson, Taarabt, Buzsaky. Routledge might make the step up, if playing alongside better players.

play-off's - I'd snap your hand off now. I have no problem Hart bringing in what he thinks he needs to bring us up however we are most probably not going up this year and if he brings in permanent our next manager, due in crica June, will be left with these plus the rest of the rag-taggle bunch we have collected over the last couple of years.
