mahon is good and has been INFORM this season.
for magiltons tactics mahon is an awesome player. under other managers mahon just hasnt been consistent enough.
watson is the answer but hasnt delivered and i doubt will. faurlin is our best CM.. he needs somebody next to him to be a box to box, tackle, driving sort of CM who can change a game. rowly on his day was this person. injuries i fear have taken its toll.
problem people dont realise maclean, jackson and simpson are all small forwards.. we will need somebody with some presence to make the ball stick up top.
a hooper maybe or henderson(sheff utd)
getting such a striker would really imo eradicate the need for taarabt. he wont bomb down the wings put cross's in.
he is however good at gettin the ball in the hole and making things happen.. sometimes they work others they dont.. putting him in a 4-4-2 side wouldnt work imo.Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

MacLean can and will score in this division. Jackson is unknown at this level and could suceed like Cox and Hooper but could flop like Jermaine Easter. Jonsson would need time to settle and again could succeed or flop. Mahon's return depends on the style of football Hart wants to play.
They would all help whether they would ensure play offs is difficult to know.

cant see us going in for both jackson & maclean as the transfer fees would be much to high for our board to pay. will only be the cheap option again so
expect to see the likes of the useless pellicori & agyemang.
used to get excited & try to think about what players we should go in for,but dont bother anymore cos we dont do quality just quantity!

If as is rumoured we have set up Jackson then , as others have said, we need a taller forward in the mould of Kitson or Stead. Both are available and would offer us a plan B. Johnson sounds like an attacking right back and as we saw with Williams on Saturday they can offer another form of attck. Plus the Heaton deal is meant to be done so if we buy those 3 or 4 we should be a more balanced unit.RIP: Doug, Sniffer and Pat
