The "buzz" of going to QPR past and present

reading a lot of topics about the subject fans saying they don't feel the excitement etc because of one reason or another.

alot of fans are always making this statement followed by something about our league position or the lack of "progress".

i have to say these are two things which are not affecting me.. i felt the same "buzz" when ollie took us up aswell as the years we went down..

i went to rangers expecting to see a football team - my football team performing as well as they could - not the beyond their ability just giving 100% and having some passion for the club should we be losing or wanting to win.

today i dont see that. today i see individuals who want to play for themselves and just want to collect the wages..

as for the board - the price hike and sections of the stands along with the merry-go round of managers has seriously made me think twice about going rangers.

however the board itself at rangers in past 20 years has NEVER been that great. i mean remember previous regimes: debt, selling best striker, wasps etc.. and the trait for this current regime seems to be management merry-go rounds.

rant over.. i would like to believe id be able to want to go QPR again but currently im only going because i believe i should - as i am a fan..

not one of them there are to do with our performances as a club.. which im gettin at.. alot of fans want us to do well and that in their eyes relates to success and a "buzz".. to which i strongly disagree

Agree with some of that....

For me it's making the Loft - our home - only for kiddies and families. You've got people that stood as kids and adults in the lower loft now split all over the shop..hence the crap atmosphere.

The smoking is ridiculous..other clubs manage it sensibly - we dont.

The Stewards are supposed to be their for SAFETY. Instead they're instructed to walk around looking for people having a crafty cig and telling people to sit down when they're is NO ONE sitting behind them

But certainly price...it's a joke that my seat is £30 - plus booking fee.

No problem with any of these, so disagree except for price. Poor value product and people will choose to spend their money elsewhere.

Lack of terracing at games. If you`ve got a seat you dont like/sitting next to a dullard. Invariably you cant always move due to lack of spaces/krap view

agree with all of the above but include:**** facilities and the one main prob-the person behind the major desistions i.e sacking every fcking manager we get, pretending we spend dough and that **** badge on our shirt!!

it's a social thing mainly...we'd have 30+ regulars, spending after matches in white horse for karaoke until last knockings...

then a few/lot of bans and it died, now many are available but won't come cos the place has gone to pot in those 3-4 yrs...
prices are paramount, the REASON WE ARE STAGNATING..too expensive
where are the talked about fans waiting to come?
where were they when we were top 4??
it ain't happening ....

now, by 6pm most have gone home.
the new corporate image of qpr has disenfranchised die hards
the revolving managerial door maintains our joke status
few players in the squad do fans relate too....and as if they care? poty and lsa kids party sum em up.
