  • Whose Players?

Walking away from the ground on Saturday I got involved in a conversation about "Hart's" team. As we all know none of the team is his and has all been inherited from previous managers so how many different managers players do we actually have?

    Magilton - Faurlin
    Sousa - Routledge
De Canio - Buzsaky, Vine, Agyemang, Connolly, Hall, Mahon
Dowie - Ramage and Cerny (actually signed before he was appointed)
    Gregory - Leigertwood

    Who signed Rowlands?
    Who signed Stewart?

None of those players were signed by any manager, they have been players GP has given them to work with so in answer to you question, none.

Not too far from the truth, I'd say.

Hence.... the latest "No top manager, barge pole, reputation stinks etc.." debate from last week.
And maybe something to do with the current apathy from many.

          Mess.

I thought someone else at the club brought in Faurlin.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.
