  • No striker...

I don't no why people keep screaming for a striker, play Simpson up front and recall Helguson and that would solve the problem. But be fair we are desperate at full back , we need a couple of natural full backs and have done since the money men have taken over, the balance of the side is all wrong, bring in a right back.. Phil Ifil and a left back Tom Cruise and im sure with what we got we will still score but more importantly we'll look more solid at the back. What we have at the moment is simply not good enough.

Helguson has done nothing for us, i agree he shud come back n be on the bench instead of pellicori but cant see him being a starter.

Put Simpson and Agyemang up front til we buy another striker in january

Can't believe you think Agyemang should start in front of Helguson.

So passion wins yes? because Agyemang is not the answer my friend he's no good in the air and is immobile and easy to mark.

Helguson is immobile as well. Scoring goals wins games, helguson misses more chances than Agyemang. I want players with passion on the pitch or after a loss every fan just moans they have no passion!!! I agree he isnt very good in the air but his pace is dangerous. Helguson defo isnt the answer, a new signing is needed to partner Simpson

Helguson has no pace, the only thing that Agyemang can hold over him, who holds the ball up better ? who links play up better? who understands the role of playing as a target man better?

Neither Helguson or Agyemang are good enough, but cant see us buying a decent striker in january, because QPR dont do that type of thing,so Welcome back Iceman, and its midtable, again for us

I think you'll find the one thing Pat has is that he is not easy to mark!!
Beyond that, the madness of playing Simpson out of position must be put right and quickly!!

Pat is awkward but does not anticipate a pass, he only reacts once the ball has been passed and as such gives the defender an equal opportunity to get to the ball. Then he is in trouble as he has to be creative and the defender only has to tackle or clear. Morgan and co had him in their pocket on Saturday, if he was to make runs into space he would give himself a chance but he does not think quickly enough.
                    RIP: Doug, Sniffer and Pat

Simpson yes Helgusson NO NO NO. I like agymang up front but he don`t read his strike partner or anticipate very well. Otherwise we`d have a really decent striker!

I'm not disagreeing with your overall take on him - merely pointing out that he isn't easy to mark - because he is awkward - certainly doesn't make him a good player or one worth a place in the team - and certainly not to justify playing our best and most natural striker out of position on the wing - means we have 2 passengers and we aint good enough to play with 9 players.

I can guarantee the Helguson will be injured for at least 50% of our remaining matches so yes we do need another striker

Both Helguson and Agyemang aren't good enough. I would rather either on the bench to Pellicori but we need better to finish in the top 6.

Your spot on with that, he can make a good pass look bad because he doesn't move until the ball is played. As for hard to mark, he's a centre backs dream never makes angled runs so doesn't pull defenders out of position, makes me wonder what some see in a game.
