  • The multiball system

Anyone else think using this system could really help us when we are at home?

We are a counter-attacking side and it's not made any easier when clubs come to LR insistent on having 10 men in their own half when there is only one ball.. it makes it too easy to timewaste and takes all of the pace out of our game IMO.

Spot on mate. Too often sides time waste, fair play to them as well if they are happy with a point. The multi ball system is a must. It will keep a high tempo going and stop the game from going stale, like it did too often yesterday. It also helps with the atmosphere as the ball is in play more often and counter attacking "off the seat" football can be played.

Can someone let gianni know this is the way forward

3 ball boys for either side of the pitch 2 for the two ends, 10 ball boys is what we need maybe 12, would you even have to pay them more than 10 pounds a game...

The board need to sort it,
Cant believe it, ive been PWOPER MUGGED ORF...

Not sure the board would buy the extra balls needed

Good idea but our pitchside area is not exactly that far from the pitch, the crowd do tend to throw it back if we are pressing but the opposition waste time by delaying their posession, Yesterday's keeper was a prime example of that

I think you're right -- I'm sure I've read somewhere that the distance between the pitch and front wall is too small to safely allow ball boys -- it's also the reason why all our stewards are in the stands, as at other grounds they also have them on the other side of the front wall, on the running tracks.
