After Blackpool away, you don't start building from the back, you take the bull by the horns in March and go for the play offs, he didn't. Memory loss is effecting many people
Both Dowie & Magilton had better forwards/players at their disposal.

How can you have more sympathy for a bloke who supposedly headbutted our second highest scorer and had a pretty crap record apart from a few games against teams below us in the table and the odd game against better teams rather than someone who just played, in your words. boring football and happened to tell a few home truths about what was going on behind the scenes?

I think the point of this thread is to point out to all the "Sousa is a crap manager and will do crap at swansea" members, that they were wrong,VERY WRONG,so time for these(one or two in particular)to just admit they were wrong. If it were me,i would do so,but i did say from the moment he got the swansea job that he would do well.

I sometimes do wonder how Briatore and Ecclestone have managed their involvement regarding to F1?
On the whole, in that department, they seem to have done quite well. So
this leads me to my concern; will they ever learn their trade at Loftus Road....
Baring their comments like; "We never fail" some seasons ago I sometimes wonder wheter the two of them feel embarrased of themselves or not!:grimace::tired::tired:

            Really?

            Quite a statement.

Shows how out of touch you are with the QPR fanbase.

If I remember correctly, a poll run on here before Sousa was removed showed that more than 90% of posters wanted him left alone and given time to do a job.

Quite how anyone can have sympathy with someone who assaults one of our players, yet have no time for someone else whose only "crime" was to try to organise our team is beyond me, and I suspect it's probably beyond the comprehension of most other QPR fans too.

And another thing; what's the average attendance this season compared to last season? More turning up this year? I really don't think so.

what a stupid thing to say. i defended sousa. i did not miss one home game and went to around 16-17 away games last season.

don't start giving it all that about you being at every game so you can judge him better.

Yes, but you're not special Sam. Your opinion doesn't count like Pete's does.

Pete, pinch yourself and you might just wake up from your dream. Plenty that went home and away were happy with Sousa and could see what he was trying to acheive and how he was going about it. sure we were not overjoyed eevery week but some of us are looking for long term strategy and progress not knee jerk reaction to every little setback

He does seem to be grinding out results with swansea.

They have only scored 20 goals in 22 games.
He seems to be building from the back as they don't concede many.

However with those statistics I don't see them as a top 6 club.
Due to lack of goals, over the long term I very much doubt they will score enough goals to make the playoffs.

Bringing up Sousa is fine but I think we need to see what he achieves at the end of the season. I think they have a lack of quality upfront, a little like us and I think like us they won't be in the top 6.

Out of the 2 managers I would rather of seen Dowie at the helm.
I do think Sousa was unlucky with injurys, but he doesn't manage his side's to entertain.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

                        Boring

Those who keep on about past players and managers doing well are boring .this is a Rangers site not forest or swansea. if you are that bothered about them go support them.

                              Yes Pete, it is.

For example, I forget how many managers we've had in the last 3 years.

And I also forget whether or not our Sporting Director (lovely chap, by the way) actually called the manager of QPR a "c**t" in public, or maybe I dreamt that?
And why the next manager is being touted in the sunday papers... only 2 days after the current one was employed.

May well be rubbish, but what other club has ever been written about like that?
