Alright, it might not fetch much on Ebay, but he genuinely does deserve credit for his attempts to acknowledge the fans.
He does it all the time.

Forget his shortcomings as a player... but he gives everything out there, and his attitude is putting many to shame in that team.
    Good man.
i was behind this kid.. was in s block... ramage said to the little kid merry christmas and then gave him his shirt

i think i ve mentioned this before on the board , i think the club needs a figure head , that represents what being part of this club is about, someone like gerry francis , kevin gallen . someone to educate theses players the meaning of being a part of this club on and off the pitch. i'm sure thoses two would not shy away from telling the half hearted individuals what they think of them , if they got an "whatever" reply as gf and kg care about this club to the core. as for not giving the young supporters an hour or so of there time , shame on them , it's not alot to ask . well done gareth , martin and peter for turning up

agree but its highly unlikely to happen

when was the last time the club listened to the fans?

when i say "club" i refer to the club itself not GP:devil:

When you get paid huge amounts of money you have to be able to deal responsibly with all that goes with it.

If you are happy to take the adulation when all is going well then you have to be able to deal with abuse from fans when all is not going well.

Unfortunately all of this money, when given to young, immature, uneducated people turns them into spoilt, egotistical ****y brats and the result of this is not attending kids parties, ignoring fans, sneaking out of POTY do's, getting manager;s sacked etc etc.

i am sure they would've come for a FEW mins...

club were advised, contatced and lsa met ali russell last week and mentioned it.

i have to assume, THEY DON'T CARE UNLESS IT'S ON THEIR TIME/CLUB TIME.....
              qpr kids too....
even send a few non playing, injured and the balantas of this world is something??

RAMAGE gets stick, played out of position etc...not my fave but one of the few who claps the fans and only fit player to attend and was excellent....rowly,gaz and ram signed whatever they were asked to, had a chat and had pics taken....many happy faces ...WELL DONE THEM AND AGAIN, GIANNI.

the others, well even if loaness they are part of qprfc.....shows their attitude, gonna be hard to support them me thinks!

I'm sure gallen and birch would have come if they knew.

Sounds like the kids did have a good time so thats the most important thing.

well done for organising it modfather

Fair play to Ramage - clearly a decent bloke BUT..why should we forget his shortcomings - we want to be sucessful and need better players. Being a good bloke ain't gonna get us up.

Because I thought this thread might be the one where he gets a bit of credit for being a decent human being?... because that's the jist of this thread.

There are 1001 others where he can be slaughtered for his play if needed, but I thought the fact he went out of his way to give a kid his shirt for Xmas, and acknowledge the fans (again)... while most others p*ssed off down the tunnel as fast as their massively talented legs could carry them, might allow him to get some credit for being a far better man than the rest of them?

Football is important, but other things are too.

                    To most, anyway.

Anyone know if players have to pay for their shirts if they continually give them away? Not that PR would care.
