Another inept performance from Ben Watson today. Who actually on here thinks we can justify outlaying £2 million on him in January? It's not just about that shocking pass to Ramage which gifted them a goal, its his all round play and his contribution he has made since arriving here from Wigan.

If Wigan want to extend his loan then fair enough but as for actually buying him he has not done enough to warrant signing him permanent. He is a loanee who is keeping our own player Faurlin out of the team at present who IMO is far better player than Watson and should be starting every match.

Agree.

Watson has been a major dissapointment for me,as has Taarabt.

Get shot of the pair of them,and replace Watson with Faurlin and Legs/Mahon/Rowlands in midfield,with Taarabt being replaced by a perm signing of George Boyd or Nickey Bailey.

A friend of mine who is a football agent actually offered the club Nick Bailey but we weren't interested because we wanted.....Ben Watson!

I can see the club buying Watson. I really hope they don't. Another woeful game from him today. I have been very dissapointed!

Bailey is class.Thought he was excellent last season.Watson has looked average at best.Bailey has been superb this season again.Suprised he is still at Charlton.

Gotta Agree on Watson.....Since he came here i can remember him being sent off twice, beig DIRECTLY responsble for 2 goals conceded (today, and when he got caught in possession against Peterborough) and i can remember NOT ONE THING i've seen that has been class from him, just average CM play....buy him? Absolute Joke!!!!!!

I bet we end up buying him....

Id be happy to keep him on loan until the summer and then make a decision then but at the moment he really isnt worth 2 million!!! Its such a shame because like many of things Watson was massively hyped up!!!

I also agree about Faurlin, frustrates me he is allways the first player to make way!

was really excited about watson signing for us,but have been massively un-impressed with his displays. watched him a few times when he was at the palarse & was a completely different player to what i have seen for us,used to dominate teams & be a box to box player with great dead ball delivery,but all we get is just a very average centre mid who looks shot to bits. hart needs to raid pompey & sign sean davis,absolute quality.

Well If Watson and Taarabt have not been playing well recently, the only explainantion is that they are not interested to continue playing for QPR.
