I think you are on a wind up.

Gorman even confirmed with me personally when I was out in Slovenia. I'm just making the point because I saw a thread about pellcori.

You don't know differently, don't pretend you do.

      cheers

Gianni was told about Faurlin, by contacts in Italy he then monitored him for a good period of time around 2 months, the deal is done with Inter Milan ( Gianni and Flavio have the contacts there, not Magilton or Gorman). Of course, Magilton went to see him, because he was the manager of our football club and ultimtaely decided whether to take him or not.

        Thats the story..

lets see if he goes to Inter in about 2 years time
**** might have been harsh, but you'll do anything to stick up to your mate/sauce

I have provided you with facts and quotes, why should we belive your/Gianni's story over The London Paper???

I'm just stating facts. You don't want to believe it, because you probably don't like the fella.

Fact is Magilton went out to watch him with GP after about 2 months. The club in Argentina went into administration.

End of the day, its not defending anyone. The papers and official said it was 3.5 million, do you take that as fact?? I don't.

Just to iterate, so to get some balance.

Do I know GP scouted the player.. YES
Do I believe we paid 3.5 million for him..NO

You could say that about a few threads on here.

Anyway, lets hope for 3 points.

I know for a long time going to QPR, its hard getting up for today

Gorman found Civelli through his contacts out in Argentina for Ipswich, and had several other Argentines lined up for them when they were sacked end of last season....

laughable to suggest that whilst he was out there, his contacts manged to point him to several young players but had no idea about a young lad in the second division that Inter Milan were after...

at the end of the day though people will believe what they want to believe....

OK Pete, I'm genuinely not taking sides but just to add a little further balance,

Why are you only mentioning this now ? I assume it's not something you only just been told about, so why bring it up now ?

How much have we (so far) AND will we end up paying for him ?
If that wasn't divulged, or asked, (and in your position, I would have been VERY tempted to ask), then in your opinion please.

Why will he go to Inter ? Is there a clause ? Do they have 1st refusal ?

We all read about Jim & John identifying him and being responsible for getting him (maybe that was spin to indicate Flavio & Gianni no longer having such an infuence) and most press (and TV) reports suggest £3.5m we spent.
I can't believe that either but if not true why don't the club clarify or correct ?
Otherwise, how can we ever be sure about what we hear or read ? On anything.....This sort of debate infuriates me and makes me trust & respect the club even less !

Honestly I'm not having a pop Pete, I do look for & enjoy your posts. At the end of the day, who brought in Faurlin is irrelevant, if ee have scouts all over the world it should be them !
I'm far more concerned about who's responsible for Pelicori !

I back GP and flavio we would be far worse off without them, surely in the Coca-Cola Football League One for a start, BUT Gorman scouted Faurlin

Well Ipswich fans seem to think they were after Faurlin last season so something doesn't add up there.

I thought the deal was done before Jim & Gorman came to the club, I do know is that Jim did get a last chance to see the player before he signed.

The only club he will leave for is Inter.

So Pete who scouted Pellicori, Ledsema, Parejo, Tomassi, Di Carmine then?

Lets not discuss foreign players who were already established in England either please.

Ledsema & De Carmine we found in a tournament in Italy that both Gianni and Dowie attended during pre-season. I think De Carmine was found with Ledsema if I remember right.
