      First off it`s "as"

Magilton wants him,Hart wants him, some fans want him...So Gianni buys him.

      Waste of money,mark my words.

clearly a typo smart ####. also gianni doesnt buy players just cos managers want them, gianni buys players cos he wants them. as for jackson who knows... personally would prefer a good big man but we do need another striker regardless

Jackson and a bigger man upfront would be nice (Leon Best?).

Funny how everyone seems to think this fella will score goals at our level but many think Beckford wouldn't make the step up. Personaly I've never seen either play but Beckfords record ( playing, and scoring at a higher level than Jackson ) is better and so would suggest that he would be a better signing.

Jackson is 5' 8", so he probably has got speed as well as his heading ability. Has been voted player of the year 2009 by canada . And the coach of canada is........... stephen hart

I quite rate Jackson. He`s a quick goalhanger, thats what we need. Failing that we could always go for Jermain jackson, he`s not as talented as his brother but worth a pop.

Hart brought tommy smith to pompey, and so presumably thinks jackson has the more scope of the two. My brother is a pompey fan, and he was hoping that we take some of Hart's other signings as they're not prem level there, mike williamson (CB), aaron mokoena (MF) and a couple of others.

im local to Gillingham and seen Jackson play a couple of times. He was head and shoulders the best player on the pitch each time ive seen him, a class above the others. He's quick and also strong and a natural finisher. I think he would make the step up...if he's given chance to settle by the fans!

I see what you did there.

Think Jackson is better than most of our other current options at the moment. Has pace (which goes with our newly termed "expansive" - eh? - football) and knows where the goal is. It's a start.
