Thats all very fine and dandy and the club will always be indebted to him for that.

      HOWEVER....

that does not suddenly make him a Director Of Football, and the man to take us forward.

Yes some people may have short memories about what he did for us, but by the same token we cant keep living in the past and in my opnion he has outlived his usefullness, in his current capacity at least.

How can you say he is doing a job, when you do not know what job he does.

If you do know what GP does on a day to day basis, please let me know.

Yeh, things worked out great for Zanotti and Caliendo didnt it. And the court case...that worked out great for GP too. As for GP's investment, wasnt it £600k initially, based on mortgaging his house? Wasnt aware he'd remortgaged again, but he's been financially rewarded with his salary and directors loans (have those been re-paid, seeing as you know so much about him?). As for our investment, its not really working out for us is it? Wonder if those other options at the time would have been better? Probably not, as GP would have lost his shirt like some of the other board members.
QBP 20th August 2009..."To be fair, I'm glad we are top of the table (for agents fees). Shows we are not a selling club anymore."

how many times do we need to go over this?

are you and your anti GP bridage at a loose end over xmas?

gianni is responsible for all football maters off the pitch, ie signing of new players, making recommendations to flavio after we sacked yet another manager

give it a rest eh paul

I resent you calling me a anti GP as I dont care either way for him.

So Gianni is responsible for the selection and signing of players not the manager ?, this is not what Pete said when Magilton signed.

                            incorrect

my understanding of it is the manager approaches the DOF (gianni) and lets him know what players he wants

GP then goes out and gets the player in question

Gianni's a god plus the longer he stays the closer some of our fans have become to a nervous breakdown calling for his head.

The training ground was never closed.

The club never went into administration.

Last time I looked a block of flats was not on Loftus Road.

He bought in the investment which saved the club, or his job or both if you read the deluded rants on QPR Paladini message board and the Indy R's who have led campaigns against the guy for years.

Things are not great at HQ bu compare Gianni to Chris Wright, Nick Blackburn or some of the other fools and it puts it into perspective.

A few years ago we had buckets outside of Loftus Road and were getting knocked out of the FA Cup by Vauxhall Motours.

The same people were moaning then, that are moaning now.

These investors walk away and what next ??? Straight back to Chesterfield no thanks.

                                Perspective people.
