Last time I looked a block of flats was not on Loftus Road.

He bought in the investment which saved the club, or his job or both if you read the deluded rants on QPR Paladini message board and the Indy R's who have led campaigns against the guy for years.

Things are not great at HQ bu compare Gianni to Chris Wright, Nick Blackburn or some of the other fools and it puts it into perspective.

A few years ago we had buckets outside of Loftus Road and were getting knocked out of the FA Cup by Vauxhall Motours.

The same people were moaning then, that are moaning now.

These investors walk away and what next ??? Straight back to Chesterfield no thanks.

    Perspective people.
Yep, and i think you'll have to go far to find an r's fan who isn't grateful, but does that really justify him being employed in probably the most important role at the club, when he has no experience.

my understanding of it is the manager approaches the DOF (gianni) and lets him know what players he wants

GP then goes out and gets the player in question

Which one of them chose Pellicori then?

so jim decided he wanted the pelican did he?

              which manager wanted alberti?
              Which manager wanted ledesma?
              Which manager wanted tommasi?
              Which manager wanted di carmine?
              Which manager wanted Parejo?

I think its very naieve to think that the manager ALWAYS selects the players.

ps.. do you really believe that NOBODY would of wanted to buy a west london football club?

                Ah that old chestnut again

So many people wanted to buy us but we have still yet to hear a single name or consortium actually named despite being in the age of the web, and if one particular person wanted to find him or them to continue his quest against all things QPR then I guarantee he would have published it by now and we would have had continued flashbacks just to remind us all..

Care to name them this time?

We keep hearing this but no one has ever proved it so perhaps for once and for all you might be that person to put matters straight?

Bill Power confirmed his consortium stood aside on one of the messageboards.

As he thought Flavios bid was far better for the club if I remember though I wonder what his decision would be now in hindsight and after his exploits at Swindon it looks like we might have had a lucky escape though I do wish BP had some form of role at QPR as he thoroughly deserves it.

I very much doubt there was any investment interest on the same financial scale as the current owners, but i dont believe for one minute that these were the only men interested.

It's not something that can be proven either way

Third rate Italiens seems a very popular topic among our managers. Yet non of our managers have shown the slightest interest in northern, central or eastern europe.

Of course its just be a coincidence :amazing:

I could have been interested and bidded say 100k but would that make it a serious bid to you and others?
