  • Ink dry on contracts but anymore to be signed?

Hart and Harford have been signed up and will officially meet the staff tomorrow before being announced.

It was a busy day at the club today with people owning very expensive cars working long into the night.

Now, H&H could end up doing alright, it's odds on they wont, but they might. My feeling is though that they will have to do it with what they've got.
It looks extremely unlikely any new players will or even would sign.

    Why?

Well why would you sign for a club when you know they Management duo only have a six month contract? (Don't beleive the "rolling deal" bull you will hear pretty soon). I'm gutted if this means the Heaton deal falls through!:anger:

The madness at the club continues un-abated.

5 year plan my R's --- look the word plan up in the Oxford English GP will ya?
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

I would sooner just have Gorman coaching and Briatore picking the team for the rest of the season....and that is being honest

        IMO,

Like I mentioned in another thread, it's only a stop gap appointment until the summer, because the manager we want may be availble then, so I guess this short term appointment might be a stable one and could work out ok.

I very much doubt the promotion race is on now, I think its more the case of " see how far we can go" and just finish as high as we can (I would say top 12 would be a good achievement considering the currect circumstances).

If, however, this means we get a top manager in the summer then I would accept it (only as short term though).

i think top 12 is raising your expectations too high........will stick with my bottom 6 prediction at the start of the season.

ooohhh come on we're a bit better than that! At least we have a quality side (despite the injuries).

Think we'll finish between 7-10th now, we've still enough quality to do alright but will fall short.

1 win in 8 is not the sign of a quality side.....7 wins in 20 makes it look worse.

10th - 12th I think, blown any chance of a play off place now not so much with results but with the constant ****in circus at the club! I suggest so long as Hart doesn't take us down this season that next summer Briatore should either put some money up, real money for quality players and hire a decent manager and then let him get on with the job or just **** off!

All the statistics point to teletubbies management of the club given the playing resources. If only our owners were gifted amateurs instead of special needs.

Aren't we in year 3?, and the year 3 plan was playoffs?

We maybe more on course than a lot of people think.

Maybe they`ve been given only 6 months because the Board have got someone else lined up in the summer, who cannot get out of a current contract at the moment?? If the board had faith in Hart & Harford, surely they would be given longer deals?
