  • Getting It In The Neck Today...

Have had a few people independently come up to me today and say something along the lines of "why did that tw@t try a delicate through ball in injury time instead of keeping hold of the ball, he should be fired!"

    Bl00dy Faurlin!

I tried to stick up for him but it is hard to after thay schoolboy error.

If it was anyone else at the end of that pass he would have been made to be a hero!

Hardly. I know Pellicori is desperately slow but it was a stupid, idiotic naive pass to even consider. And we all know it.

yes maybe Fraulin should have taken it into the corner, not doubting that at all, but the Pelican was in a very good position to run onto the ball & had a chance to put the result to bed (nothing to do with i had us to win 3-1)

also there were still at least 2 or 3 errors in the defence that gave their 2nd goal away, think your clutching at straws to be honest

funny how he gets blamed for trying a through ball......could understand it if it was 1-1 at the end...but it was 2-2 so who was at fault for the 1st...or is that forgotten.

My thoughts exactly. My nan would have got on the end of that pass, and she is 75, and has a plastic knee.

You're not allowed to make mistakes at this club. He should be given the archers just like everyone one else
A man who has not made a mistake has made nothing

It would have been more sensible to try and hold on to the ball, but there was a good scoring chance to be had as well, if Pellicori had been faster and read the pass.

However, considering the ball was then booted 60 yards upfield, shouldn't one of the 3 centre halves - four if including Ramage - and Leigertwood 6ft+ midfielder defending deep, have dealt with the ball a bit better, than allow one striker to beat them to the ball, take a few touches & hold them all off, before shooting at Cerny, who could have dome more than palm it out to Cox?

I think more questions have to be asked about the $hite defending than having a go at a player who tried to set up a 3rd goal.

Aw come on............. The game was in the bag... ALL we had to do was run down 30 seconds.... instead he completely f&cked up.... it was a STUPID STUPID thing to do, and it cost us two points.

Don't try to make out that we all get on a players back for trying to score goals and take chances that nearly come off....... it was the dying seconds of a 15 minute war of attrition, in which we were hanging on to our lead.

                          FFS:very_sad:

football is a team game and the attempted through ball was an attempt to help the team score again.we all make mistakes and faurlin has been very good this season so far and settled into english football very quickly.
what the hell was god thinking of when he thought of hamsters?
