  • Do QPR Fans Moan More Than Any Other Fans?

Having watched last nights game, and a few others this season, although being a bit peeved that we let in a last minute goal, overall with all that has been going on over last week or,in general I was quite happy.

Sure it was sloppy defending all over the pitch, sure faurlin should have gone there and pellicori done this etc....but overall we managed to play quite well under the circumstances.

Ever since Flavio took over , QPR fans have moaned. Before he arrived we never wanted to be a Chelsea.Since his arrival (and i do not know about the finances of the club) fans continue to moan about the "lack" of players we have splashed the cash on.

We have had far too many managers since Flavios arrival and for me that has stiffled our progress. We have finished 21st 17th and 11th( I think ) so slow progress has been made - just when players get used to one style of manager - another steps in.

It's quite obvious what this club needs at the moment and its quite obvious at the moment we are not going to get it.Stability.However stability some times means going backwards to go forwards and im not sure QPR fans have the patience for this.We seem to expect and demand immeadiate improvement.

With a very important time of season approaching we need to sort out the managerial situation out this week. However - only a god like figure, something this club will not get, will please most fans.

Paul harts name has been mentioned and already he is doomed according too many.Blame the tactics blame the players blame the manager blame the board blame the pie maker.

We , as fans, do seem to had have alot to moan about over past three years and we do moan.I cannot say that the way the club is run at the moment is particularly that good but in contrast to other clubs i suppose we should be happy that we still have a club.

When i started to watch last nights game - i feared the worse but was pleasantly surprised.Yes i kicked the cat the dog and the wife - but in reflection despite yet again two points being lost, was better than what i had expected.

Whatever happens over the next few days , I hope that whoever is manager is given till rest of season to mould or remould the team into a team that we can be proud of.Failing that - why don't we all put in for the job - it appears very easy according to some.

The problem is like it always has been since Flavio arrived is interferance. Last night is was crystal clear that someone wants Tarabbt to play behind the striker, so much so they put our leading scorer on the left hand side of midfield. Who ever the manager is, let him do it his way.

EVERYTHING stems from FB's policy on hiring managers, and how they are treated.

And now we have become a club with a stinking reputation in football.

Everything else is just details, but it ALL stems from that. Even the prices could have been swallowed, but that makes it even worse.
He's ruined what could have been a great period for QPR.

I actually think us QPR fans have a rough deal and have had to put up with much more crap than most other clubs. Could you imagine Chelsea or Arsenal fans in our situation? Would be ten times worse than us on the moaning front.

There was a debate on radio this morning about how fickle, no I think they said disgusting the Chelsea fans are for booing because they didn't beat Everton on the weekend. In reality football fans are very rarely happy and think their team should be better, scoring more or whatever. Some of us think we have a divine right to moan and know all the ins and outs and goings on at our Club because we pay for our tickets and others just think they know more than everyone else.
It's human nature - even though the harsh reality is we have no divine right but will do it all the same.

Update - it was as a result of something Ian Wright wrote in the paper.

Correct. We are second in the league of moan to Spurs. Every season we catch them up a little though.

Sorry I have to say I totally agree with this post

At town, we were bottom for almost a quatre of this season, and even loosing against Newcastle 4-0 at home we still didn't boo, not one game have we boo'd this whole season.
Yet all i read on here - and before you say dont come here etc etc I like to as my friend is a QPR fan and we enjoy talking about the differences in the two clubs.

Anyway back to my point, at the moment it seems like Mags is going, but why would anyone want to manage QPR right now? Hart - boo, southate- boo again, anyname mentioned gets slagged off, just because the owner has money doesnt bring success, why join QPR when you have other london clubs to join, thats a reason top players dont join, we have the same problem being in east anglia, no top class player wants a quiet life.

Get behind your team, get behind who ever gets the job, thats what we have done, and finally its paying off.
