Having watched last nights game, and a few others this season, although being a bit peeved that we let in a last minute goal, overall with all that has been going on over last week or,in general I was quite happy.
Sure it was sloppy defending all over the pitch, sure faurlin should have gone there and pellicori done this etc....but overall we managed to play quite well under the circumstances.
Ever since Flavio took over , QPR fans have moaned. Before he arrived we never wanted to be a Chelsea.Since his arrival (and i do not know about the finances of the club) fans continue to moan about the "lack" of players we have splashed the cash on.
We have had far too many managers since Flavios arrival and for me that has stiffled our progress. We have finished 21st 17th and 11th( I think ) so slow progress has been made - just when players get used to one style of manager - another steps in.
It's quite obvious what this club needs at the moment and its quite obvious at the moment we are not going to get it.Stability.However stability some times means going backwards to go forwards and im not sure QPR fans have the patience for this.We seem to expect and demand immeadiate improvement.
With a very important time of season approaching we need to sort out the managerial situation out this week. However - only a god like figure, something this club will not get, will please most fans.
Paul harts name has been mentioned and already he is doomed according too many.Blame the tactics blame the players blame the manager blame the board blame the pie maker.
We , as fans, do seem to had have alot to moan about over past three years and we do moan.I cannot say that the way the club is run at the moment is particularly that good but in contrast to other clubs i suppose we should be happy that we still have a club.
When i started to watch last nights game - i feared the worse but was pleasantly surprised.Yes i kicked the cat the dog and the wife - but in reflection despite yet again two points being lost, was better than what i had expected.
Whatever happens over the next few days , I hope that whoever is manager is given till rest of season to mould or remould the team into a team that we can be proud of.Failing that - why don't we all put in for the job - it appears very easy according to some.
